If You Can’t Take the Heat…

…theeeeeeeeeen maybe don’t fly to Bolivia right now. 😂

Things are heating up here. Cities are rioting, blockades are going up.

It’s kind of hard to believe it’s even happening from where I am. Things are normal. Peaceful. At rest.

The gnats certainly don’t seem to think they need to go into hiding… 😐😛

But the increasing heat has affected us some. Joyce described it like when a big snow storm passes through. The day before you go and get groceries, and then you buckle down and stay home until the storm has passed. It’s resulted in an even more restful feel at home.

But it meant postponing the electricity party that was supposed to be tomorrow. Buuuut I guess that’s okay. I’ll just have to wait longer for that fun, haha.

It could make it harder to get groceries, and harder to finish my immigration paperwork. Neither of these is an issue yet, but please be praying for the Lord’s provision in these two areas! It be great if neither of them became an issue, haha.

It might also make things hard for the two electricians who are here to finish wiring up the children’s home. Boy did they pick an interesting week to come. 😂 Leaving the country is still possible, but please pray things stay open enough for them to make it out when they need to.

Ultimately, please pray that the Christians in Bolivia would be the Lord’s instruments of peace right now. We are what He uses to bring His Kingdom to earth. Pray His Kingdom will march forward through the lives of His saints!

Oh, and meet Scout. He wishes he were a lap dog. He really likes me. Which is great, until he’s trying to climb into my lap. One of my journals now has his paw print in it. And I didn’t ask for him to sign it. 😆🐶

      1. Haha, my sinuses usually don’t get affected by my allergies – just my lungs. But they are thankful that I wash my hands after petting the furry friends, and that the furry friends live outside, haha! ☀️

    1. Love you, Grandma! Thanks so much for your prayers! Psalms 46:1-3 (NASB) God is our refuge and strength, w very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah.
